The cold is here

Okay the cold has hit. I am so not ready for winter. Not but I can do to stop it. I am covering the kids in warm cloths. I keep thinking of the kid from "The Christmas Story". Then I think of my parents doing the samething.

Two days

Hubby and I are going away over night!!! I am so looking forward to this little get away. I might even get him to drop me off at Hobby Lobby. This could be dangerous but I really need to got here.
We are going to a law enforcement appreciation. I have no idea what to expect.
Hubby's sister will watch the little ones. I know they will be taken care of but I know mean one is hard to get to sleep. I might even tell K not to give her a nap. That might help right?

Anyway it will be fun.

TGIF

Hi I hope everything is going well with all of you. My mother-in-law is on her way here, I think. The girls will just lose it when she gets here. I am trying to think of what to make for dinner. I have no ideas right now.

What are your favorite things to make for dinner????? PLEASE share. I am bored of the same old thing.
There are things I like but Hubby not so much. I could eat salads all te time. Hubby is a meat and potato kind of guy

Play dough

When the kids go to sleep Cuddle Bug and I will make play dough. I know she is really looking for word to it. It must being driving her crazy to wait. If I have to tell her one more time "after the kids are sleeping"

I will make a recording of it.

Anyone out there done this before? I have not. I am wondering about the food coloring. How much do you use? Is it just a matter of how dark you want it?? How long will it last?
I am going to take a few pictures and add them tot he site.

A show

I have a fund raiser for cancer on the 15th. I don't have the product to do this show. I am stressed out about it. I am going to make Christmas balls and put ribbon and the words love, hope, believe, and dream on one ball each. I am hoping for pink balls, white and red. What would you pay for something like that?
The pack of words cost me about $7 for 100. I wonder what the balls will cost?


I can't wait until my brother and mom get here. they are coming for Thanksgiving. This is Hubby's favorite holiday of the year. I like St Patty's day. I am wondering about the weather and how they will do with it. We will get snow this week. They are from Florida. They think they want to see snow.

One sick week

Okay this week is over. I had three days out for sick days. All of my kids have been ill.


OH my....Hubby and the mean one are watching football right now. he fluffed...she is laughing about it. What a lady I have.

Anyway....I think I am done with my days off. Otter is not happy she will be back at school in the morning. Her temp would go up and down. So she would feel great and then feel BAD. She would sleep half the day after over doing it. Cuddle threw up in her bed Saturday night. That was gross.
Why is it before our children the smell of that stuff...sends us running. Then we have children and we are the only people who will clean it up?
I hate to say this, I am almost to sleepy to write this tonight. All I want to do is go read a book. Right now the book is Red Lilly by Nora Roberts. Not a thinking book. I have the next "good" book lined up after this one.
