Today Cuddle Bug asked me to get her some hot chocolate. I said no problem. As I was making it she asked me "Mom how did you make hot chocolate in the olden days?" There is nothing like a child to humble you.

Rocky
First let me tell you we had a lot going on tonight. I had book club tonight which we were reading The Shack. Hubby, his sis, the girls and our nephew went to the swimming pool.
I had book club and dinner to bring home. I also had a few things to get for hubby which I forgot. He had a friend bring over some deer meat. Hubby makes jerky out of it and it is good. I am not into wild game but I like his jerky. He had me put it in the sink to thaw out. I am guessing it weighed about 30lbs. I had also gone to the store and picked up some fryed chicken. Rocky was in the house and this worried me.It has been so cold here that he has to stay inside.

I put everything up were I thought he could not get to it.
I walked into the house in the middle of family prays. The dog was outside. I asked why he was outside did he get the chicken? Or the bread I thought for sure it was something like that.... No he pulled the deer meat out of the sink and gobbled it up on the living room floor!!!! I have to tell you hubby was NOT happy. I can't say I am please with the carpet either. I never thought he would pull the meat out of the sink.
He yelled out you meat head. Otter said dad you mean that literally. So the dog may have had his name changed and been banded to the cold.

Christmas
CANDY!!!!!!!!

Boy the baby looks just like her Dad! She also happens to act just like him too.
The dog loved the gift wrap. The candy all over the floor made him rather happy too. I wish I had a picture of his face.
You would not believe how many Hubby took of the kids. Someone was always looking down or had their eyes closed. This was the best one we got of the kids. I don't know that we have a nickname for K but he's 4. Baby is 2 3/4. She will tell you she is 3. Cuddle Bug is 5, and Otter is 9.
Well Cuddle Bug what she wanted. It was Barbie land around here. We did have K here which I think was good for Hubby. He got to see a few cars under the tree.

Christmas
Hello to ever one. Christmas is over and I am ready for some peace and quiet. I still have the tree up. I think I will take it down this weekend. Rocky ate one of Otter's 1st baby bulbs. I am not pleased about that but he is a young dog.
Anyway the girls loved what Santa had under the tree. He was in and out so fast he had me put together their big gift. It was a step 2 kitchen. Cuddle Bug just could not believe he came in to the bed room and got me up...without him waking her up. I told her me either! So she sat beside me while I while I finished up. The other girls showed up just as it was done. Baby loves it too. My nephew was with us for Christmas. Him Cuddle Bug, and the Baby "cook" dinner for Grandpa. He has plastic apples, pickles, cheeseburgers, and a few things he was not sure of. They also asked to use water. I am not ready for that just yet. I keep trying to tell them water will hurt the noise the stove makes.
The girls all got Barbies. I am thinking next year it is just a Barbies wonderland here. They have been playing with them and not watching any TV. Shocking and I am loving it. I may have a dream house lined up for them soon too. I can't wait to see their faces.
Baby also got a "blam a lam" or a guitar from me and the hubby. She loves it and plays it about every other hour. I am ready for those batteries to die lol. No not really she does love it. It is so fun to watch her with the guitar. Oh no she is fighting with one of the daycare kids over it right now.
There is another story about the Baby. We went to the GYM last night. He toe got stuck under a large metal door. Hubby grabbed the door and I grabbed Baby's leg and we both PULLED hard. It was not fun for any of us.
Off to the ER!!!
I thought for sure it was broke and in need of a stitch or two. Well the doctor came in and all it needed was a wash and a band aide. The doctor said it could use a stitch but with the spot it would cause more trouble than it was worth. She also can not go into the pool for two days. This is not a good thing for our little fish. I am happy it was not broke.
I am working on taking off my extra weight. I have been going to the pool and swimming a mile every day. I keep looking for the scale to show lower numbers........and I keep looking....and I keep looking. How can it be there is nothing yet? I will keep you up dated.

Merry Christmas!
Wow I can't believe it is Christmas Eve night. My kids are trying to go to sleep right now. Not working all that well either. They have a cousin staying over with us as well as one aunt, one uncle, and Grandma and Grandpa. Energy is HIGH.
I am almost scared to see what the morning will bring. Hubby is off to bed. He has to work at 6:30 AM. I feel bad he will miss the first glimpse of the Christmas tree and all it's glory. The good thing is Christmas dinner will be calm. One problem we did not bake any cookies for the man in red....I hope he will be OK with that one over site.
I am very happy to say my children have not missed the reason for the season! Ask any of them and they will tell you all about baby Jesus. We will be singing Happy birthday to him in the morning too. It is the first thing we do. Grandma will read the story of the Baby Jesus from the Bible.
I wish I could spend more time on this page tonight but I have things to go tonight. Hubby had to go to bed!
